Photographic Collection

With over 8,000 donated photographs in our constantly growing collection, the West County Museum offers a unique window into our past. Photos span from Pomo and Miwok natives, early pioneers, agricultural greatness, schools, businesses, to our unique diverse community.

Each photo has been identified, scanned for preservation, and placed in archival material. Some of the many topics the photographs covered are people, businesses, landscape, and historic homes, schools and town events.

Our entire photograph collection can be seen online at digital.sonomalibrary.org
