Members and friends of WSCHS will gather at the historic Burbank Farm in Sebastopol for the Quarterly Meeting on June 15th from noon to 3 PM. Local archaeologist and historic preservation expert Stacey DeShazo, M.A. will enlighten us about “Rediscovering Sebastopol’s Forgotten Chinese-American History.” Stacy holds a Master’s degree in Historical Preservation from Savannah College of Art and Design and a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from San Francisco State University. She has over 16 years of experience in historical architectural and cultural resources survey, identification, and evaluation. She is a Principal of Evans & De Shazo, Inc. in Sebastopol.
This event is a potluck lunch and is free and open to everyone. Luther Burbank’s Experiment Farm is located adjacent to the Burbank Heights Senior Housing complex at 7777 Bodega Avenue in Sebastopol.
